Resource Parent Association
- Sometimes the best resource for foster parents is other foster parents! Wesley Family Services started a parent group where parents can come for help and advice. We ask our parent association to tell us how we can do a better job. Some parents like to help us raise money to offset foster expenses.

Support Groups
The Resource Parent Support Group will meet via ZOOM. Connect with other resource parents to receive support as well as lend support. You do not have to feel as though you are on an island alone in this process-other resource parents have been where you are. And, you never know what you know that could help someone else!
September 2026 Pre-Service Trainings
Pre-Service Trainings are for prospective resource parents and those who would like to know more information about the process before applying. The trainings help to prepare resource families for what to expect when a child is placed in your home and how to handle the challenges that come along with fostering. In addition, the trainings give an overview of the support systems and resources available to help preserve placements and provide the best environment possible for the children in need.
The Incredible Years® Parenting Program
